Amazing sum raised in memory of Jacqueline McCloy

Our daughter Jacqueline McCloy was a in ICU and HDU on quite a number of occasions from 2017 to 2019. Jacqueline had several health issues and sadly passed away in ICU on 18th June 2019 following almost 9 months in hospital.

During her time in ICU/HDU she received excellent care and attention from the consultants, doctors and nurses. We had many uncertain days and nights and the medical team faced many challenges in disguising Jacqueline's condition at times. However Jacqueline and our family were always treated compassionately.

Following Jacqueline's death my brother James McCloy decided to do something to fund raise in memory of Jacqueline. This was delayed due to Covid lock down but in September 2022 James completed the Belfast Half Marathon, and asked us to nominate a charity. We chose REVIVE as we wanted to give something back in recognition of all the effort put into caring for Jacqueline.

James raised the amazing of £3350 in memory of Jacqueline and as a family we are extremely grateful of his efforts. We hope this money can be used to help others in some way.

"We are completely blown away by the mammoth effort of James in raising so much money to help us in our work.
The McCloy family went through the most tragic experience anyone can imagine when they lost Jacqueline and the fact that they have gone on to raise vital funds to support others is truly humbling.”
